Your choice of eyeglass frames are almost unlimited. The problem is How do you find the frames styles that look best on you?
Narrow your choices before you shop for eyewear:
Would you want a frame that's delicate or bold, retro or modern, conservative or "out there"?
Do you plan to wear this frame at work? For social occasions?
What colors do you like and look best on you?
What are the main colors in your wardrobe including suits and shirts?
Do your eyeglasses fit your face shape?
What do you like about your current eyeglasses? What don't you like?
The answers to these questions will help the Long Island Opticians narrow your search to frames that are right for you and ones you'll be happiest with.
Judging fit and comfort
Generally, women seem to be more interested in the way eyeglasses look, while men are more interested in comfort and fit. But if the frame doesn't fit well or isn't comfortable, you won't want to wear it.
Frames must be wide enough so the Rims extend a little beyond your face. If eyeglasses are too tight on both sides of your head (that part of the frame is called the Temple) or if the Temples are too short you'll feel pressure at your temples all the way to the Earpiece pulling on your ears.
Is the Nosepad comfortable? Most glasses have soft, adjustable silicone Nosepads. Frames without adjustable Nosepads should fit without pinching the bridge of your nose.

Don't you own more than one pair of shoes? Why not buy more than one pair of eyeglasses?

Money spent on multiple pairs of eyeglasses is well spent — especially if you have a varied wardrobe for work, home and social wear.
